Hi Gord, many thanks for your recent comment! Looking through your portfolio, i love the distinct canadian feel to it. You are obviously very proud to be canadian. It has got me humming Gordon Lightfoot and i haven't heard his music for years, what was it called? "the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". Cool

Hi Margriet,
Sorry for getting that mixed up. I have been to the Netherlands a couple of times many years ago as well. Once in Amsterdam and once in a very small town which I cannot remember the name. I was involved in a military parade there at that time. Some of the friendliest and nicest people I have ever met!

A superb feel to this image and very well composed. I think an ND grad might have helped balance the darkness of the foreground with the bright skyline but it's still very enjoyable.
