Nice image. I love the lines formed by the rows of seats. I agree that it looks tilted, and would probably look better with the light removed. Keep up the good work.

This image has an excellent range of textures and patterns. There are strong geometric shapes such as the seat bases mixed with the softer curves of the seat backs and contrasting further with the subdued horizontal lines on the walls. And into this is thrown the very organic shaped and focused person. Excellent work!

When I arrived at your portfolio, I was immediately struck by the consistant quality in composition, sharpness, clarity and tonal range of your work, which give it great strength and excellence. This one is the first I selected to view because everything I just mentioned really drew me into it. You took an everyday moment and turned it into an artistic and very not so everyday photo. Well done! Thank you for your comment on Fairy. T.

Hi Femke, you really have a good eye for photographing people in a natural setting. The black and white is a very good choice for these kind of images. As for the composition: I agree with Fabrice about cropping (more) of the top of the image, but the angle is indeed very good as well. Also it looks a bit tilted to the left, which you can easily correct in PS. Marion :-)

I did already crop on the upper part but perhaps I have to crop more. Thanks anyway, regards Femke

Nice catch Femke..She seems totally concentrated on what she's looking for.. I like the point of view that you have choosen, it gives here a great perspective to the image. I would probably crop the light on the upper part of the shot. Well done Femke Cheers Fabrice
