I have to say, the gaze disturbs me too.. needs to be more towards the viewer. The right wrist, not good also. She doesn't really look relaxed. On the good side.. I think the skin tones are lovely, except for the hands. ANd she looks great in black. I hope you don't mind my saying what I realy think. Many times, women don't comment on this type portrait, only men. I try to express what women may think :)

John, the eyes are a bit distracting for me, not because they are over sharpened or anything, but where her eyes are gazing. not that i am a purist when it comes to portraiture, but i think if her gaze was more towards the viewer, maybe not straight on, but not so exagerated.... i do like the lighting and tones and what i have seen of your other work is superb.... bryan

Thanks Joe, I'll do that to the original. I also don't like the wrist on the right hand.

A little on the hot side for me, her left hand and the tones in her skin need to be warmer

Thanks David. The whole picture was sharpened slighly. The whites of the eyes where brought out a bit. maybe that's what causing it to look like they're over sharpened????

Very nice. Eyes perhaps a tad oversharpened?
