Hi Larry, first of all thank you for your kind comment on this photo.
The ISO was 200, since for digital Nikons this speed is the minimum ( also for the D 100 ) and equals a 100 ISO compared to other cameras.
On the other hand, there is a built-in device to reduce the noise which is supposed to be used for long exposures.
Sometimes, especially with difficult lights, like on this photo or for scanned ones, I use a particular software to remove the noise while retaining the details.
