Again a photo that is great for journalism, but also it's wonderful as a nature photo as well.

Another great image. Nice colour balance. And - beyond that - the contrast between apparent certainty and the devastation of recent events.

An excellent photograph Subhash, this just shows what life is really like and unfortunately just how close the livelihoods really are to the waters edge. The reality of this in your superb photograph is quite frightening.

Excellent my friend.

Best wishes for the New Year,
Steve

nice photo.
seems that the ppl there are really motivated to get things going again so i should think these boats wont be resting like that for long.

Hi Subhash; I've been keeping track of the news coverage in Southern Asia during and after that earthquake & tsunami. When I saw this new photograph of yours, there is some worry and anxiety, because of what had happened. But in this, there also seems to be something hopeful, because the boats seem eager to go again. And that's what we all must do; pick things up and live on. It is a beautiful image, so characteristic of Asia; its color and light. Thank you for looking at my photo "napping" and for your thoughts. I do hope you also get the chance to nap every once in a while. It keeps you young! Cheers,

Mark
