About Master Yogi from Florence, Italy. Photographed in my studio using high key lighting. She is one of my teacher and visit the U.S. every two or three years. The original image is very sharp. The scan made the image soft.

Thanks for your comment. I cannot do that pose although I have been doing yoga for over 25 years. This is a challenging balancing pose that takes a lot of upper body strenght. Very nice to meet you Shizuka. Cheers, Andree

I also find it difficult to scan medium format film, it's much better to make a print and scan that.

First, thank you for your comment. The problem with this scan is that it was done by the model herself. My scanner does not scan medium format images. I have a lot of great portrait in that format and do not show them for this reason. I now shoot in 35 mm format to be able to show online. When my scanner breaks, I will get a multiple format scanner. I love film. For some assignment, I like to know that I have it on film if my computer crashes or my backups fail. Paranoid.........

I really like the high key lightening and the pose, but you are right about the scan, maybe the scanner doesn't like the light! Nice capture
