Hi Michael, like the self mockery of yours...:) You'd captured the entire Burro from head to toe, the effect would be entirely less pitiful...:) Still, the tones are good and natural, as is the sharpness of this image. OK, it may have it's flaws, but I've seen worst too...

No real skill here - I just knew that I needed a low F-Stop for the DOF I wanted, and I just needed times to change to a telephoto lens. I just lucky that we were there to see this weirdness. A lot of waiting for the birds to flock back if you scare them off.

I took about 1600 photos - I'm still converting from NEF to JPG in batches at night... so please stop riding my a**. Kidding my man. I'm thinking of having you two work on a digital photomerge landscape, it just takes time to assemble them and select one for you guys to work on. Ever work on a 18 MPxl image before?
