About	Paul Von Hindenberg was Germany's greatest hero of World War 1. He was elected president of Germany in 1925 and appointed Hitler as chancelor in 1933. The aging Hindenburg died in 1934, and was honored on the Nazi silver coins minted between 1936 and 1939. tHE 2-Reichmark is size of a quarter and the 5-Reichmark is the size of a 50 cent piece.
