Zeev, these are just beautiful! Very delicate and graceful. I like the slightly battered petals on the lowest one, which adds to the realism. I might have cropped this into a vertical, emphasizing the long stems and cutting out the red flowers in the background. Amy

Many thanks Len for commenting,this plant loves cold weather,the one I took the picture are outside the house in the garden,I assume your living room is heathed ,this is the reason for their miserable look,try to put them outside ,for a few hours a day,and water them with ice water

Nicely done macro... perharps a slight cropping on right side could make it decentered, removing that small pink part...what do you think ???

Beautiful flowers with a nice color and lighting.
I have the same flowers in my home. Do you mean, this flowers like cold wether? Usually they stant in a window, but at night I am trying to take them off from window, because it too cold at that place. Maybe, I am wrong?

While I like the image, I'm struggling a bit with the format (especially with the part on the right with the cropped leaf). My guess is that a more quadratic or upright format would fit the subject better.

This is a lovely bloom. The color is rich, light, tones and details are very good in this image. Short DOF allows the pink blooms to pop out of the image.

?que bonita imagen! la transparencia de las flores es fantástica.
En España esas flores se llaman ciclamen y efectivamente florecen ahora, en invierno. Yo tengo varias en mi jardín, pero aquí el problema es que hace demasiado frío, ya que la semana pasada llegábamos a cuatro o cinco bajo cero por las noches, y con tanto frío se hielan.

Hi Zeev, Very good DOF, and a nice composition; could also do well in a squared format; making the centered composition less evident. Not that the centered composition bothers me, though. The tones, colour depth and crispeness of this photo is excellent. Very well captured.
