Titia,

A special one, indeed. I am glad she is happy now and enjoying her game.

regards,
ken.

LOL, ours is much bigger I think, at least mine is. I love photography, poetry, I travell through the whole country to inspect this rare breed of sheep I raise (I'm the president of all inspectors of this breed), I like roses, I like fishing and I wish we had 48 hour days. Lynn has no other interests than softball. Her whole life and that of her female partner is spinning around this game, day in and day out.

I'm glad to hear that.
I don't know of any unit to measure the size of a world. How large is ours ?

Thank you Christian, yes she's playing full time again. She got very special fysiotherapy treatement for a long time and because she is training daily, her muscles took over.
The moment she stops training all together, her knee will collapse again the doctors said and then an operation will be needed, but that's in the future.
She has been to Canada a couple of times, to the USA, to Australia, to Japan. She seems to be, what they call 'a natural'. She was second best player in The Netherlands. Her 'world' is very small, it has the size of a softball, so to speak.

Magnificent, Titia - a wonderful tribute to your daughter and all the other kids out there playing. This has to be every bit as meaningful to her as winning was. :) Well done.

Nice crisp photo but the story you added brings the meaning to another level. Well done. Del.
