David, you have a sharp eye ;-) Yes, it was tricky to pull the maximum of dynamic range out of one RAW. This is an earlier shot with RAW, now I would make three RAWS for exp. bracketing and stitch them together with PanoTools (100% overlap). Dynamic range of digital RAW is inferior to film, for sure.

I must have missed this one somehow.
Very beautiful work! I like the general dark mood. The snow has a touch of pink/magenta which is not really my favorite color, but I can't blame you for that :)
One little thing maybe. The area just around the sun looks a little gray and lost some contrast.

Superb capture! The sky is breathtaking. What I find interesting is how low the sun is at 1:30 during your winter. Wonderful shot!!

Hi Carsten, Very well postprocessed and stitched. You certainly managed to revive the tones and hues, and I think the high contrast in the backlit image is a very powerful addition to the scene. Compliments! Very solid piece of photography!
