I love the 20D...and continue to be challenged by it's many amazing features....
Oh ya, Dina Marie has the hang of it!
Take care ... I look forward to seeing more.

It's strange to be using my SLR lenses on a digital camera, but I think it's something I could get used to very quickly..:) Re: having another...two is enough for us! Besides, I don't want to copy EVERYTHING you're doing..;)

I just now noticed the 20D! Wow! Aren't you just loving it? I can see a difference in your portraits already. Thanks for the dedication :). P.S.-She's turning 1? Might be time to have another!

Even though it's pretty similar to the Canon Elan 7 film SLR I've been using, the focussing is slightly different (the 9-point autofocus actually seems a little less intuitive than the 7-point focussing on my Elan for some strange reason). Also, I knew the range of my lenses would be modified due to the less-than-35mm-sized sensor on the 20D, but the aperture also seems different (e.g., 1.8 seems to read as only 1.4 on the 20D); so I'm adjusting by using smaller apertures (larger aperture numbers) than I would normally to maintain the DOF I'm used to. I have to say I really like the lack of grain at 800 and 1600 ISO versus what I get with film at those speeds...though sometimes--as you may have noticed--I actually like a little grain. Anyway, I'm hoping to get the hang of it before I do a wedding in April. Any tips on doing weddings?
