Corrie - I create the text layer, then change the blending options. I use emboss, drop shadow, and then change the opacity around until it is as I like :)

I think the watermark adds some class, which suits this image perfectly! How do you do that...(i have photoshop cs...but i havnt figured much out yet..)

i like this...this little womanish child waif who has so much personality that you have aptlyu captured on film. great use of the shadow under the hat to help frame and define the face.
