Interesting shot. Menacing in a subtle way. Carelessly cast aside perhaps, but potentially deadly. Good choice for B&W! Well-used Bowie..familiar. Unusual composition!!! Good.
This is a very interesting photo - the extensive blurred portion helps give the sense that the viewer is looking past the foreground section at the in-focus part. This really helps to draw one into the picture, which is important, because the composition is such that it seems like the the plane of the cloth is nearly verticle, as if the blades (assuming all the objects are some sort of blade) are resting on a wall, which defies the senses while still seeming natural; this phenomenon gives a pleasantly disorienting feel to the whole thing.
