The desert really is a beautiful place that most people drive through as fast as they can. Another fantastic photo stitch image. I could really learn alot from you.

Great stitch. Excellent composition & exposure. I see you must have been there pretty early when the sun is not so harsh. This a great escape for me as it is around the corner from where I live. Hope you enjoyed yourself during your visit. Carla

Michael, thank you for your comment. What if the rule of thirds interferes with what is most aesthetically pleasing or the message you are trying to convey? I hate to sound like a heretic but, I think that the rule of thirds was discovered by someone who found a common thread in what was most pleasing to the eye in order to measure or quantify something that by virtue of its nature is impossible to meter. My method is to look at the picture and crop out anything that distracts my eye from the emotion or message that I want to project. Sal

Fellow photo stitcher -
clean work, little bit of variation in the frame, but I really enjoy the view. I've noticed that when you take a panoramic you have to put the horizon at level, but then the rule of thirds kinda gets violated - any suggestions on how you would approach this?
