It's still good George , even with the underexposure. Great street scene, looking at all the expressions in the crowd. Try "fill flash" in PS sometime.-mm

Thanks, Ken. I didn't take as much care with this as I should have. The shot was badly underexposed. The people in the crowd were barely visible, but the guy was so interesting, I thought he was worth showing even though I had very little time to tweak the image. Ah, well.

George,
I could see a 'halo' of PS work around him. That is because of brightening. It works for little bit of brightening.
If you want to do like this one - then it better done be taking a copy of the man by "ctrl+J" which gives you the exact copy in a separate layer. You can brigten him in that the - "ctrl + E" to flaten or combine the layers together.
That way you can avoid the "halo" effect.
