This is such an intensely personal image, it is so finely focused that it first it feels out of focus but then you notice the definition around the lower face. The hair creates a mesh through which we get to glimpse a growing child concentrating on her reading, her development.
A special time, special moment.

Nice shot! I like the angle you took it at and the idea is great! I like this one! I think it would look nice if you added a little more contrast and less gray.... but this is still a great shot! Nice work :)

Hi Lida, fantastic, up-close portrait. Quite a sad expresion, created by the hair in front of her face, the sulking lips and the eyes cast downwards. A bit more contrast would create a more balanced tonal range, I think, but that's about it.
