this is my favourite of your yellow roses series - i love how you kept the colour in the flowers but made all the rest of the photo b&w (which i normally don't like so much but you've done it SO WELL here). Anyhow, i think it's just a glorious shot - very beautiful - wonderfully captured, composed & created.

Very pretty -- luscious yellow and the light is grand. You are a sweet guy to do that and to put up such a nice message for your wife. The selective color works very nicely here, and I like the DOF. I wish the baby's breath weren't clumped so tightly in the background - -just a tad looser would have made this even better IMHO T.

You have a very lucky wive, Samuel.....!!!! Your picture is very beautiful, the color is wonderful, and the magical things is the DOF. It really enhance the beauty of the flowers. Great warmth in a deeply cold winter....

The winter is definitely grey and pretty dreadful and hostile, and and and horribly cold? colder than a witch?s tit, goes the saying, ? anyway, I hope I hope the wife appreciates this? cause I certainly do! Really very pretty composition Samuel. I guess I never paid this much attention to flowers before. Very pretty. C
