Thanks for your comment, Christian. With this I tried to make the vertical lines vertical, but got some kind of a balloon effect. Nevertheless, it's a nice piece of architecture, reminding on some passages in Paris, but nothing happening on sunday morning.
The hint with Noise Ninja was really excellent. I downloaded a trial version and tried it out with pictures I shot from old slides from the screen. And could reach a big improvement. Do you have any experience with scanners to digitize your slides. I have attached the first photo of Christoph in the clinic (now more than 30 years ago).

Great perspective. What I appreicate is the way the vanishing point is actually endless, thanks to the curve. You might be interested in using some noise reducing add-ons. On Windows, there is one that is oftenly cited : Noise Ninja (!).
