About	I've never seen a deer with a face like this. I was having trouble focusing on the face and now I know why. I was looking for a normal deer face and all I could find was white w/ no detail.So, I ended up focusing on his mouth and not his nose. This explains the softness on the face but I just had to share this unusual vision. Focal Lenth 400 mm. Shutter Speed 1/10 sec. Enjoy, from chilly Virginia USA

HI Margaret, you know it's funny you wondered that. When I first arrived, I would say that there were probably 8 or 10 deer in the field and all of them ran off except this doe and the one right beside her. So, MAYBE, she has been ostracised by the rest.
