Another one of my backyard friends having a feast in the Callistemon bush.They are very agile birds and often hang upside down to reach the flowers. They are also very noisy and are always talking to each other, even with their beaks full. Not the best manners, but beautiful to watch.

Hi, Ann. It's been awhile since I visited your portfolio. I've been missing out on some really nice pics! Plan to comment on a couple more... This one I did want to offer just a little constructive criticism if you don't mind. Looking at the thumbnail, it's hard to see what the photo is, and then full size there's a lot extra there, overwhelming the bird. I would recommend cropping this one down to make it a photo of a bird, not bushes with a bird in them. (I get cardinals and bluejays in my back yard, but these guys are REALLY colorful!)
