About Mr Moon is a local ikon. He is the face of the c1912 Luna Park in Melbourne's bayside St Kilda. This face is actually the third installation completed around 2000. The original face of Mr Moon was removed in the 1960s and rebuilt rather cheaply and was well in decay by the 1990s, eventually this one was put into place and is evidently close to the original c1912 one.
