About Well, I decided to take these glasses outside today. I filled them up with a little scoop of snow. This will give me something cool to look at when it's 100 degrees outside this summer. I used a blue Cokin filter.

Wonderful capture Debby, but I am sure there is another ingredient for the glass to go with the ice ;-)

Ummm, hot chocolate after playing outside. Is there anything more warming for the tummy? Thanks, Corrie, for your comments. Made me remember following behind my older sister in very deep snow - we went inside and my red rubber boots were packed full of snow. Now, that was cold. I'm glad this image brought back memories for you. -- Debby

I love the composition of this, and I really like the filter, Makes it a very moody image!

Even though this is such a frosty cold image, it make me feel warm! I think its because it reminds me of that time right before it gets dark in the winter, in late afternoon.

Do you remember when you were little and your parents would make you come inside and dry off because youve been outside all day sledding and its getting too cold? And you come inside and sit at the kitchen table all rosy cheeked still wearing your snow pants and drinking hot chocolate, while your mom is making dinner.....

Haha...call it weird, but thats the first thing i thought of when i saw this!!

What I particularly like about this is that glass #2 is slightly tilted and not exactly lined up like the rest. I just adds a little tension to the whole thing. There are a million ways this could have been done, as others have suggested, but the way you did it here is very good. A great idea.

Alison, Thanks for the suggestion. When my hubby and I were reviewing my images, we thought we should have added some color. -- Debby

Nicely done, you should have added the different flavors for color, although it's very nice like this. Good composition and lighting. Alison
