Awesome! She will love having all these amazing portraits to remember herself at this age. She looks very mature for 12. Great light!

Beautiful, natural portrait Pat. Amazing use of depth of field and the conversion to B&W is great.

You couldn't take a bad picture of her if you tried.

hahah I'm sorry!!! I seem to do that a lot -- just fishing around in the market trying to decide if I want a new lens... my lowest dof possibility is 4.5...not good for portraits.

Thanks for pointing out that I entered the wrong lens! I'll change it now. :)

The camera just loves her! As always love your perspective and lighting! And great dof - how do you like the lens? is it new? I haven't been paying a lot of attention to your portraits details section lately.

I didn't do any burning anywhere, but I did adjust the levels and contrast a lot-I wanted a darkish, contrasty image. I probably went too far and lost the detail in her hair. :)

The tones work beautifully with eachother. Was there any detail in her hair which you burned out?

Beautiful capture, full of life and personality.

Great BW portrait of a pretty girl,a nice natural pose and very good toning. I think I would crop off the top half of her head scarf.

Very nice! It's nice to have her hair back and see her pretty face. Gorgeous eyes!
