Local rugby team. Thought I'd have a play with something I hadn't tried before. I've quickly learned if I want to do sports photography regularly then low light and cheap glass don't mix. I'd better start saving up for a new lens! Comments always appreciated.
Cheap glass no longer a problem. Lack of talent is! :) I'm working on it. Bought myself an 80-200mm f2.8 a little while back and having great fun with it now. Just got to wait 4 or 5 months for next season! Thanks for all your comments.

Man, that's sooooo true (about the light and glass). I like the action here - waiting for the ball to be kicked feeling it gives me as the viewer. Yes, it could be sharper but it's a first go so I appreciate the level it's at as it is - my 1st wouldn't look this good! :) I know my bro-in-law broke into the field (punny) a while back, if you're serious about it, you might ask him for pointers (he's Steve Tift on Usefilm).
