Thanks for the comment Warren. In general ND grads are rectangular to allow one to move the transition to the most appropriate position in the image. I used Cokin Z Pro filters in a Lee Filters holder.

This came out very good, certainly in the shadowparts .. very good example using ND grad filters .. already saw what they do when making an IR shot on my Sony .. using ND4 / ND8 and combining them .. will order some for my 300D too !
