Very intricate Panaroma....Result in the Extreme...Michael!
I guess the Cuvature...is a result of the 12 Shot Stitching...However a Very Impressive Panorama!!!

Carsten:

I think this was about 12 shots put together.
This is about 170 degrees, and the mountains and clouds are so far away that the motion was minimal since I shoot pretty fast.

Photoshop's close and healing brush will be your friend if you ever get some seams (which happened on this one).

Looks like a perfectly stitched VERY large pano (how many shots ?), congrats ! Did the clouds move during shooting (how did you fix that ?)

Taran:

The image here is a reduced size of the file I printed. Exactly. I will leave the image on the curve and frame it rectangular as is. If I feel really adventurous I may cut a curved mat.

You are gonna need a custom frame (duh)... my advice, go to the biggest wholesale art distributor in your area, they will likely have framing facilities on site, this will be "small" to them. Did you crop it rectangular before printing? What's the cropped version look like? Nice shot, as always, Michael, I appreciate your hard work.

I printed it at ezprints.com. They have a panoramic option where you can print these at 1 foot high and they charge for every 6 inches. I had to scale this image down to one foot (12 inches) and the resulting width was 78 inches.

Framing this thing is going to be the fun part. Suggestions?

Wow! Looks very interesting and original. The tones look great and I love the arched panoramic layout. Awesome work.

By the way, how will you be printing this?
