I am somewhat frustrated right now and posting old images i took. I am not quite sure where I am going with my portfolio much less my style. Will schooling help? I have so many questions and this site seems to be my only outlet.

I dont know why but I sort of attribute this to somewhat your style. Not really because yours is so much better but the shot "salad fingers" that mary thought was to be scary reminds me of this image for some reason... btw while typing this i just realized your title salad fingers... does the term lord featheringwalthemstone mean anything? Salad fingers reminds me of a disturbing flash video.
