Many thanks for response James,if you look in my porfolio,there is a shot I took on februar last year in the same location,I supposed that this Island wasn't bad damaged as it is unhabited

Zeev.... this photo was taken two days ago. However, the area this rock formation is in wasn't much affected by the tsunami. The real damage was on the other side of Phuket island and south a bit. Not far off however. I did drive up the coast of Thailand today on the way back to Bangkok and saw a naval ship about one kilometre up from the water (among other things). That was in a place called Khao Lak, which was seriously affected. Many areas are rebounding back however, aside from the loss of lives.

yes - a strong composition & i like all the open space that you give us on the left. Beautiful colours. It's so cool how the rock just looks to be sitting on the water - it's not obvious at all (except for logic) that it sinks down under the water line - so that adds a kind of surreal feel to the piece for me. Wonderfully captured & composed.

This is beautiful also, but I like the first composition the most, it may have been centered, but I think offset by the piece of rock in the front. It amazes me how vegetation will grow anywhere, amazing formations. Alison
