hi tony,
great entry to the dramatic portrait section. well seen and composed. the DOF looks a bit artificial as there is no gradient - just a cut.

I hope he?s drinking only water? this could change dramatically the meaning of this photo and I think you understand why? About the DOF, the image is better with a blurred background, only I suggest you to apply the blur more gradually if you want to emulate the natural DOF of a long lens. Bye, Max
