Terrific, the tide being in probably forced you onto the higher shore, and maybe thats this images big gain. Everyone (me included) has this castle set against a low tide taken from the beach. This is just a little different. If I had to make one comment it would be that the life belt might have been better a few feet to the left, but I am not complaining. Its still a great shot of a spectacular place.

There's really too much to praise in this one. It all hangs together so well. Roberto said most of it... another for my favourites! I do love your northern skies, so full of interest in comparison with our bland skies here in Japan. One of the joys of getting back to Usefilm is to see your photos, Kevin.

Hi Kevin..
If he does not disturb you I put her in the favourites..
My dear friend.. I find this landscape very particular.. being also "very simple" it has in himself a big strength. maybe that of the wind.. maybe that of the sun.. maybe because the perfume of the sea, maybe what seems a cross are heard, with the life jacket, so isolated. and maybe because the northern atmosphere is furthermore..
Magnificent and perfect!
An eloquent study of the light which incises the castle.. and the sea strikes!
my best wishes
roby
