Plaza Drugs (formerly Plaza Theater) - a funky spot in the funky Virginia Highlands neighborhood of Atlanta.
I sometimes do local contrast enhancement in Photoshop before final sharpening - using Unsharp Mask settings of Amount-20%, Radius-50, and Threshold-0.
Just after I did this, I went to do the final sharpening step, in which I use 125%, 0, 3. So I entered the 125, noticed this cool oversharpening effect, and stopped there.
I normally don't go for this myself, but I think in this case it suits the Art Deco lines of the marquee.
