Thanks for your comment. This is inherent of a digital camera, even though 5mb set at 4.5 MP - best (3:2 aspect for 4" x 6" prints), doing digital macro as opposed to a optical lens macro. Macro Mode distance of 3.9 to 23.6 inches allows me to not have to get too close to shoot a macro. When I crop a photo that I photographed further back, the resolution changes. I guess I over sharpened and over clarified to try and bring out the webbing more. I don't always see this problem on my notebook screen at 11:00 PM at almost 60 years old. The background (red/orange) was a Big Sonic Sign Pole.
