Thanks for your comment. This is inherent of a digital camera, even though 5mb set at 4.5 MP - best (3:2 aspect for 4" x 6" prints), doing digital macro as opposed to a optical lens macro. Macro Mode distance of 3.9 to 23.6 inches allows me to not have to get too close to shoot a macro. When I crop a photo that I photographed further back, the resolution changes. I guess I over sharpened and over clarified to try and bring out the webbing more. I don't always see this problem on my notebook screen at 11:00 PM at almost 60 years old. The background (red/orange) was a Big Sonic Sign Pole.

Hi Peter, looks like spidey knows where to hang out! Beautiful colors and composition (as usual)! I'm glad you were able to capture the small strands of web spread across the petals. I find the shot a bit pixelated but perhaps that is an upload problem? Amy
