the two cute little ducks give life to this otherwise motionless waterscape (i wish they were white, this greenish tint that they seem to have looks to me kind of unnatural). the crisp clarity fits perfectly to this frosty panorama.

Nice shot IR makes it look good. the birds make the bottom portion fit in to the image. Very nice

I would like to choose another aperture, but the Sony only allows F2 and shutterspeeds up to 1/60" in nightshot mode .. this is a technical limitation built into the machine ;-)
Thanks for commenting !

Hi Peter,

nice especially with the ducks, but I miss more depth of field, sorry f2.0 was too wide open for this scene.

Greetings from Germany

Thx Jeanette, both are true.. the raw images were shot through a real IR filter (Hoya R72).. all those raw images need postprocessing in PS to alter the dull colours into vivid ones, or turn them into b&w .. regards, Peter

WOW - i really like this work, so surreal and so fantastic beautiful....the contrast and the green WOW. The snow on the trees and the reflections. Really good. Once again, I have to try that IR-filter. (have you done it PS or do you have a filter to your built-in lens?)7+++

I think I prefer this photo to your previous one, Peter. Although the green colouring looks unnatural, especially in the sky, I think it creates a tranquil, natural(!) atmosphere. I agree with the comment on your previous photo, neatimage is great software and would work a treat on smoothing out the noise on this one.
