Photography is personal perception ..
I myself do struggle sometimes .. what do i want to show .. and that is where my horizon will be ..
I want to show the humble little being of man inside its environment, the ever powerful natural elements .. so i minimize man and its creations .. you see ?

What a great shot .. monotone gray and white, and the colour of the little houses on the waterline .. very good definition on the forested slopes ..
One tip for composition: 1/3 water and 2/3 land is a good rule in this kind of shots.. so point up a little higher, or crop the resulting photo from the bottom..
