Una situazione davvero inusuale ed affascinante resa benissimo grazie al forte dettaglio sul primo piano e ad una sapiente esposizione che ne mette in risalto le caratteristiche. Mi piacciono in particolar modo i candelotti di ghiaccio con quello sfondo azzurrognolo nella parte superiore che crea una piacevolissima zona di colore e riflessi.

Hi Paul, this makes me shiver just by looking at it. very peculiar shot, the ice comes out perfectly in the backlighting. Well composed, too. Great shot, in all aspects.

..perfect for me how you have taken the light trought the ice leaving the shrubs in silouhette. In this way, you have succeed to create a clear and formal lines graphical play in tne composition.

like the opaque look of the ice knots... looks like water to me with the reflections. nice catch! IMHO, the frame is a bit hard. but a minor nitpick.

Beautiful shot, Paul! Wonderfully smooth ice on those branches - almost doesn't look cold for some reason. I like how the little tinge of blue is the only clue that this is a color photo!
