About One of the things I like about usefilm is the ability to watch other photographers grow in their art. First time shots look funny and inferior compared to photo's he or she takes after he or she gets to know the subject and work with it for awhile.

RThis is one of those shots where I will look back and laugh. I was so nervous and excited to get him that I made a few mistakes. He is really way far away and the shot is soft because he caught me by suprise (playing around) and I didn't have the lens mounted to the tripos, I had the camera which made me a little long and wobbly. Even the fast shutter speed didn't help. Though, the softness could also be attributed to the 2x extender. Who know's? Anyways, follow my progression if eagle shots as I get them. I promkise you alot more and they will improve whith each and every shot.

Focal Length 400 mm.
Shutter Speed 1/350 sec.
EF25 Extender

Hey great work and I love your about. You are so right. But we need those shots that we laugh at later to realise whether we have improved or not. Jim, I will be replying to you shortly. I have a lot that I want to say, but it will take time to write it all.

Beautiful!!! the colors and lighting perfect. I love how you have placed him in the corner of the photo, showing the grandeur of the area. Alison
