We were driving downtown looking for a place to eat lunch on a oneway street heading north when this building caught my eye. I pulled over and rolled my windoe down and shot this. All the latest flowers were shot at our hotel or farmer's Flower/Vegetable Market. We were going to a concert in the America Airline building at 1:00 Thanks for your wonderful comment... Peter

Now this one I don't recognize (except the mirrored building in the background). I might just have to re-think my position that there's nothing to be found in Dallas worth photographing.
Good shot!

very nice, if any suggestion, maybe too busy, coming in closer on painted wall and cropping tighter on buildings in background, but then you may lose DOF, overall good stuff.

I won't give up macros, but This new Fuji Finpix S3100 camera is giving me some good non macro automode shots. Even tho it does macros I like my Kodak DX4530 and Minolta Dimage 5 for macros. I carry my kodak in my pocket all the time (Just in case) This is where it came in handy... http://www.usefilm.com/image/600837.html

Are you moving away from the macros, Peter? As the result is that good you should continue with it. It's an excellent shot and very well seen.
Cheers, Markus

You're right Peter, a very interesting collage. I first mis-read your title as "college of shapes and patterns" which intrigued me. (I think maybe UF is such a college, eh?) Anyway, love the colors here, composition is very nice. The simple border sets the photo off nicely. Amy
