Paula, i see your point but this particular frame is not on par with the image. surprisingly, framing seems like a separate skill unrelated to photography. i tried several times to do the same but the results were mediocre at best.i don't have any good ideas for depth-inducing frames but may be somebody else at this forum knows.

a nice object trouve' and a beautiful shadow play on the top as a bonus. a good catch but the frame doens't work for me - was it really necessary?
