About Lips that are as warm could be,
Lips that speak too soon.
Lips that tell a story,
Sad and deep as you.

Smile that's warm as summer sun,
Smile that gets you through.
Smile that tells a story,
Sad and deep as you.

The eyes that are the window,
Eyes that are the view.
Eyes that tell a story,
Sad and deep as you.

Tears that are unspoken words,
The tears that are the truth.
Tears that tell a story,
Sad and deep as you.
Dave Mason

how very smart of you to find a cathartic outlet for your grief; keep it bottled inside and it'll just get darker and more bitter, Dottie.

Know exactly what ya mean Den. Don't forget the promise and beauty of Spring waiting to arise under Winter's simplicity. ;)Thanks for being a friend... D

Those trees seem to be waving at you as you passed by Dottie. Although they're bare at the moment before long they'll be full of life. So take heart from that. Know what I mean?

What was barren then Paul, was my heart, my hopes, dashed once again by a cruel taste of reality. I created this work of art, then I started to let go of the negative energy & pain within me. Just a way I have found to let go & remain healthy. :) Dottie

This is not barren...it's just...resting.
It's building up enough energy to SPRING forth and sing and dance in the rain, Dotty!

Trees that seem to arise and touch the sky, in a cold snowy landscape. Longing for Spring, it's the same way I feel now. Both your shot and the about are moving and thoughtful, thank you for sharing as usual.

Al, I hope we've seen the last of the snow for this Winter! I am SO longing for Spring!!! :) In this part of Virginia we don't usually get that much, let's hope we've gotten our fill. :) Dottie
