Its just below Donner Lake and inbetween Truckee. The pass is just above the Lake. I'm not sure where they were trapped at but it near this area.

lovely landscape the canon g5 is very good camera the bridge is very deep with snow heavy snow fall i love the trees they look like chirtsmas trees
