This is a great capture! The composition is nice. I especially like the purse in the foreground, it's too funny because women always have to have their purses (as a woman I can say that, lol!). They are all in unison in their stretches. I love this photo, great work!

JT,
That's an excellent idea, my friend...especially about "giving the name card and quickly run away thing"...LOL!!!
I can imagine the look of their faces upon seeing the notes on the name card which said: SMILE, YOU'RE ON UF CAMERA...:))

Dear Larry, thanks for your comment..:)
No, the original is from a color digital photo, and I converted it into BW tones using PS as the digital darkroom...:)
Cheers,
Hanggan

Awesome catch, my friend! And what a wonderful tone! did you do this in PS or just a final output from your camera? Love it!

you will definitely hate me :)
but looking at your photo I would like to suggest some changes to your composition ;-)
look! we use 18mm at your lens (15mm would be perfect) and:
1. we put this concrete block in the foreground with the bag on it. so we have to come really close and sit down on a pavement ;) we put the bag in left/bottom 1/3rd of the frame
2. we compose women in background behind and around the bag
3. we try to capture the tree and the roof. it is easy as we are sitting :-)
4. we take several shots, give away some business cards to the women and quickly run away
what do you think about the idea, my friend ?
see you
jt

Ah, thank you, JT....:)
Yes, and with my previous olympus, it's difficult to hold the lens to prevent shaking. Now with the bigger lens, I feel more stable in holding it. Might purchase a longer lens, but your suggestion is precious! I need to use my legs more often, because it's healthier in any sense and will help reducing my overweight...LoL
Thanks again, my friend, you've been so wonderful and affective in guiding me. Please don't get bored to criticize me..:)
God bless you,
Hanggan

you know what Hanggan ? your photos are different now when you use D70 with 18-70 lens. with Olympus hyper zoom you were often tempted to shoot at 380mm (63mm). the result was sometimes cropped feet or heads. now your frames are wider (i also looked at.
many photographers use 28mm or 35mm for street photography and I think they are right. probably you will walk much more now (you have zoom in your legs) but your frames will be better ;-)
best regards :)

A great capture! The women all bending in one direction create a nice pattern, giving the shot a sence of action. The choice of b&w was also very wise.
Kind regards,
Niclas
