No, I have paint just a tinny bit of the background in the lower right corner. Generaly speaking the bg is the result of a total dark condition and the use of flash.

The lighting on this picture is very good. The colors come out perfectly. I also like the black background. Is the background a retouch or is it the result of using a flash?
