Salvatore, this is a fine shot. The colours are great and really make the shot stand out from the other thumbs on the page. What sort of lighting did you use, it looks like it starts to drop off a little on the right hand side (no offence) or am I looking at the curve of the glass jar / bottle? Always admire your work.

AJ you are right. I didn't pay to become part of a mutual admiration society. I appreciate critique and on closer examination find your assessment correct. This shot was a lighting nightmare, the bottle wanted to reflect everything. Sal

Oranges, oranges, I'm sick of oranges... but I love what you've done here! All these simple ideas - why don't I think of them?
I'm going to be tough. I'd like to see some brighter highlights. And a removal of that little light patch at top right. This is a critique website, right?!
All the best, AJ

Not long ago I saw a photo competition whose keyword was refreshing - I'm sure this photo would have been a perfect entry for that. The composition in this image is very interesting, much different from the typical perspective of an orange. Nice focusing and lovely vivid colour, excellent work. One criticism is that the black area in the bottom left is rather distracting, perhaps a slightly tighter crop would help?
