Sure is a pretty weed Peter. Great capture from the uncomfortable position. I really love the colours, the purple and white go together really well and taking in the shade has enabled you to capture them so vivdly.

Don't me all the credit... It starts with God and then there's the camera. I just aim and push the button... Stay tune for more of the Weed series.... All of these were found in my yard just before I mowed it.

Here's the origional. Maybe when I cropped it, it gave that effect..... This was alot of work getting this shot.. I was on my hands and knees. At almost 60 years old it ain't easy.

Very pretty. I am often at a loss to distinguish between weeds and desirable plants. I do know that some have moved up in the world. This one is certainly deserving!

Great macro!! Love the colors and composition!! If that's a weed, then who ever said weeds are ugly, it seems almost a shame to cut/mow them down.... (Did you use 'pastel/PS' on the photograph, it looks a bit like a watercolor)??
