Nice shot. The soft blurred focus maybe how the baby sees the world. Great image. Greg

BTW, not to change the subject but speaking about Stanley Kubrick (above) - the best film maker in the last 50 years - unfortunately gone now I just found out he was a Leo - July 26th - same Birthday as Jagger. There's SO many talented Leo's out there - were does it end? Just a little FYI kinda thing. Mark (8/20)

I know, I agree it is gross. The human body is the ultimate landscape, much more than a bunch of connected parts. The good photographers know how to produce images that retain the romance and the beauty. Others, well I guess we know what to call it. Maybe that's why I don't do nudes ..... I don't know if I have the technical skills to do justice to the subject. I have no interest in shooting anything unless I can at least try to do it in an artistic way. I'm not saying all of my work is "art", but I try.

Thanks Audra, the dreamy effect is cool. It would probably look great with artistic nude shots as well. It might give them more of a romantic feel, as opposed to the "clinical" look many photographers have adopted.

Wow this so cool Audra, and I don't usually like baby pics (too cute). Did you create the dreamlike quality in Photoshop, or was this done with the Nikon??? Kind of reminds me of "Close Encounters of the Third Kind", the effect I mean not the baby.

I honestly thought I would be the first to mention "2001" but Mark beat me to it. It really does look a little like the "Star Child" in the film at the end. Nice shot. Andre

Gotta agree with Jim. Very trippy effects here - really like it. Kinda reminds me of the baby in Stanley Kubrick's "2001" - very nice job, Mark
