I love the way the lovely sky shows through the branches of this very delicate tree. Very nice, George.

A moody landscape if there was ever one. excellent silhoutte work, the use of the different grey tones in the composition with only the redish light of the sun to create a nice contrast - Rafael

Looks so cool the tree branches all show, the clouds almost like a shadow of the branches, and another 800 very neat George!!

from the red to the steel lit up grey area it looks like an ocean breaking on the beach. the clouds almost mimic the tree, with the poof's. feels so smooth, smooth elegance.

When I saw the thumbnail image my first thought was that you had been to Africa at the weekend! I have seen pictures of the Serengeti that look a little like this, a tree silhouetted against the setting sun; it's very good indeed.

A disquieting view? and a fine capture. Although beautiful and spectacular, sunsets become clichéd by virtue of the sheer number of images produced. But here the sun has already set and does not overwhelm the shot and it is the lonely tree that dominates? the tree and the darkness falling in Alabama conjures other images ? Southern trees bear strange fruit, Blood on the leaves and blood at the root? A powerfull picture my friend!
