I can truly appreciate the quality of this photo. After almost 22 years of living in Arizona, I am constantly amazed at the almost unbelievable colors that you see in a desert, and this photo has captured a tiny bit of the beauty of this State. One of my favorites!

Thanks Scott and everyone. Scott that is exactly what I felt when I was taking it and especially when I got back home and uploaded the images to my computer. There was just so much to look at that I found my eyes wandering everywhere throughout the picture...Cheers everyone.

I find myself studying this photo for each and every detail as my eyes are drawn all over the photo.
The branch on the stump to the left seems to be speaking to the sky with its arms out as an oracle to the landscape.
The multiple shadows and highlights on the ground are what sets this apart from many other desert landscapes.
