About Just trying out my new Teleconverter (Olympus Tcon 1.7) with my Fuji S5000. This turned out surprisingly well for at night handheld and an effective telephoto of 510mm. Will be spending some more time with this lens in the near future. Watch out for all those birds and aircraft I intend to post!

Many thanks for the demonstrations of its capabilites you've posted on here. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it arrived.

It was also re-assuring that despite it's fairly low price (£65) it seemsto be well engineered and arrived well ahead of time, given that I had opted for the free 3-5 day shipping from Amazon.co.uk (it arrived 2nd day after order)

I will now have to justify it's aquisition!

That was pretty fast to get the lens, Neil! Glad you're now able to start using it! It seems very easy to use handheld at any decent shutter speed.
