About Alcatraz, the infamous prison in San Francisco Bay. I stripped out the color and applied Nik Blue Ice filter-- since it filled the photo with a sense of cold. If you've ever been there on a foggy night, it's freezing. Cells didn't have any heat, and prisoners only had a thin blanket for warmth. The lights of San Francisco could be seen-- close, but forever out of reach to the prisoners. A forbidding place-- I guess that's why they stuck a prison there ;)
